ABOUT

Will Blood is a contemporary artist from Brighton, UK. His work takes bright colours and beloved popular characters and renders them in a distinct style that reveals what lies beneath — a comment on both mortality and the emotions often hidden beneath the surface.

His series The Book of Bare Bones began in late 2012 as a way of figuring out the inner workings of these characters. Years later, it continues to help him reveal his own thoughts and feelings. Both cute and macabre, the work blends surface appearance with what's hidden below, showing how contradictory ideas can exist within the same image.

Over the years, Will has partnered with globally recognised brands — including Mr. Men, Garbage Pail Kids, Vans, and the Chicago White Sox — bringing his distinctive vision to life across paintings, murals, and clothing collections.
